Status of Women in (FLOSS) Technology in Africa

Just came across this great conversation between Dorothy Gordon, Director-General, AITI-KACE (Advances Information Technology Institute) Kofi Annan Centre of Excellent in ICT and Council Member of the Free Software and Open Source Foundation for Africa (FOSSFA) and Seun Ojedeji, Council member and CTO of FOSSFA and Federal University Oye-Ekiti (Ghana). It’s long but humorous and insightful, definitely worth a listen. I’m surely going to make a beeline to check out the hackerspace next time I’m in Ghana. Yay for African hackers, geeks, and nerds of all stripes!
