Last month, I was fortunate enough to be a guest on my friend Naomi Hattaway’s lovely podcast Leaving Well. I talked about my work building my consultancy The Wind Down and also the Composting and Hospicing community of practice that I facilitated for the most of last year (and hope to continue this year). Ginie Servant-Miklos Pedagogies of Collapse (free PDF is here) is a tough but good read about how we get honest about the ways our world is collapsing and how we bring that honesty to the work of educating people. The hope is that with such knowledge maybe we can expand our consciousnesses in ways that will help us realize a new version of the world, one we can live in and not callously break into a million pieces

Kyle Soo (one of the best people I met last year!) and I are doing a discussion group at the end of February for folks who finish the book and want to talk about it as part of (what we hope will be a new series) called BookEnds. Message me if you wanna join!

Bad Bunny – Debi Tirar Mas Fotos

For some reason, I just thought Bad Bunny was for other people, not me. But along the way, I stumbled upon him and this dude is great and this album is great and he is a strong artist with a powerful understanding of history and context and how to entertain. I feel like I am reading the album like a book, Googling for references to better understand what he is referring to on the surface and below. Nice way to start the year!

Babygirl

Look, I don’t know if I liked this movie to be honest, but I am glad I saw it. Harris Dickinson is the male lead, and wow, he is totally beautiful and also a super great actor. I think I just want more people to see it so I can discuss my wacky theories about it with you! Ping me if you watch so I can talk your ear off.
